What is best server?

like zap hosting, hostings? or vps, vds?

vps

20charrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

why? what is difference? if it is better, what is the best and the cheapest vps?

vps, is like a windows machine that is running 24/7 so its easyer to navigate and use.

there are a buch of different vps’s to different prices out there so really you should have a look around and see

but zap hosting promises 960/gb ddos protection? And its interface looking good.

@Woopi

VPSs arent just windows

smh

My opinion is never go with a game hosting company. Alot of the times that don’t give what they say. Though For zap since they use Psychz networks Data center, servers and network They have pretty good up-links and ddos protection. But that does not mean they don’t run 20+, 50+ or even 100+ servers off of one machine depending on how many cores it has.

My suggestion is always a Dedicated server if you can afford it. if you cant then a vps. There is multiple places all around that has vps’s for under 10 bucks. I personally have 1 vps that has 4 dedicated cores and 8gbs of ram and i pay $9 a month. and then i co locate a rack server for 50 bucks.

I use linode, they are a great company, their servers are great and has even better uptime. I have had my VPS for a year and it only ever has gone down once for security maintenance. I currently use their $20 VPS but I did have the $5 back in the day which worked fine until I started TeamSpeak servers and websites etc. I do run 3 (4 if dev is up) FiveM servers off my $20 plan plus multiple websites, databases and 2 TeamSpeak’s and it does pretty well.

They are great and you can start at the $5 plan and upgrade as needed. There’s no setup fees and no extra payments (excluding backups). They all also have no lock-in contracts so you can cancel any time.

You may not want a Linux but I think they are better as windows tends to have a bunch of crap running that hogs resources.

Which company is it?

My lazy explanation why you shouldn’t use a GSP

Shared hosting is a bad idea if you’re looking to be popular, unless the servers with the host are sandboxed and limited to resources, otherwise if another server on the same box as you is using more resources your server will suffer. You also have limited control via FTP whereas if you use your own server/VPS you have more access and can utilise things such as GitHub

ZAP in my opinion
