What do you actually want from a FiveM RP server?

’m in the early stages of building a new RP server and want to hear from the people who actually play.

What makes you stay on a server?

What makes you leave?

And what’s something you wish more servers would do?

Not recruiting or dropping Discord links. Just looking for honest opinions and ideas before we get too deep into development.

From a developer’s perspective, technical stability and uniqueness are everything.

What makes me stay: Unique custom scripts that you don’t see on every single copy-paste server. A stable, well-thought-out economy, and highly optimized performance (high FPS, low resmon).

What makes me leave: ‘Pay-to-win’ mechanics, toxic admin abuse, and poorly optimized servers packed with hundreds of heavy YMAPs and messy scripts that constantly crash the client.

What I wish more servers did: Focus heavily on Civilian RP. Give regular civilian jobs highly interactive and fun custom scripts, rather than just putting 100% of the development effort into Cops vs. Robbers.

I’d put civilian jobs that connect players ahead of a huge feature list. A restaurant buying ingredients from players and hiring a courier creates more reasons to talk than another solo delivery loop. I’d also keep menus simple: clear prices, obvious actions, and no guessing which key does what. Which civilian activity are you planning to build around first?
