Which can i replace and with what (i think model) to play it without lag and spikes?

Lags depend a lot on what server you’re playing on and what assets and resources server have. This could be problem with optimization. That’s why I would first try to see if other servers are causing you lags and then make result.
Anways, I would try to focus on the CPU, because the one you have is causing a decent bottleneck with your graphics card.
I play on a server with 250+ players so I do lag more there than if i were to play in another server, but if i were to upgrade to a i7-11700K would that fix it? Because I only care about that server since its the main one i play on
I’m not familiar with Intel, so I can’t say, but I’d really try benchmarks on other servers first to see how you do with lags before spending money.
I know that I don’t lag on other servers because the one I play on has many players, but I’d like to not lag on the one I play on since it’s basically the only server I play on
The CPU would be my advice for an upgrade, however make sure to do some testing and eliminate the network stuff as the root cause of the lag first before spending on an upgrade.
RTX 3060 should be fine. Maybe try and turn down your textures to Normal instead of high. IF you were to upgrade something, I would suggest upgrading the CPU.
Ok but I’m mainly confused because I was watching a streamer and he basically had the exact same specs as me but instead of an i5 he had i9-11900F, and his game was so smooth compared to mine
An upgraded CPU can make a big difference.
Maybe your wifi speeds are down?
I’m not really into Intel so I can’t say what’s good. Try discussing it with an expert who can advise you on a better CPU for your graphics card.
RAMs could also affect this, but we would need to know the frequency and type, but that’s more of a consultation with an expert.
Also note that upgrading won’t necessarily help you. A lot of servers are not well optimized (and believe me, players count doesn’t really affect this if the server is well maintained) and you may not get what you expecting from upgrade. More people may have the same problem on this server.
Your specs are more than enough for GTAV and FiveM. The number of players around shouldn’t affect performance too much (it will but it definitely shouldn’t cause lags). I assume this might be due to unoptimized scripts or server assets. In this scenario, upgrades won’t help. Try playing on a different high-populated server (or even a few) to see if it’s actually a hardware bottleneck or unoptimized scripts/assets.
Can’t be my wifi. I have pretty good wifi!
Yes but like I said before, there is a streamer who has the exact same specs as me but instead of an i5 he has i9-11900F, and his game was so smooth compared to mine, so I really do think it’s a hardware issue, not a server issue since he plays on the same server
Well, then more information is needed here, how much memory is being used before you are even in FiveM? you may have something running in the background that could be impacting your performance, there is so many variables that could be different compared to this stream you are you comparing yourself too.
But it seems like you have already convinced yourself that your CPU is the bottleneck which it should not be.
Other question would be, are you getting any packet loss at all? maybe try using hard wire instead of wifi whats your ping like compared to this “Streamer”.
my specs is
GPU : RTX 3070ti
CPU : i5-11400F
Ram : 16gb (2x8gb)
SSD : 250gb
HDD : 1tb
when I play Grizzleyworld RP my GPU usage is around 40-50%, my CPU usage is around 5-20% I got like 100fps , my ram used be 8gb (1x8gb) and the game still run smooth at 50-80fps. The best way to save money is to buy more rams for your pc.
Not always, and by far not in all circumstances. 16 GBs is the “minimum” nowadays, yes, but if your CPU is 10 years old adding more RAM will hardly help
Is Fivem CPU or GPU intensive? my i5 11400F + 3070ti does a really good job when I got 16gb ram in my PC, I got like 100fps every server I play. But if I could build my pc again, should I spend more on CPU than GPU ?
GTAV (and FiveM) aren’t that CPU-heavy, however as a general answer you should first of all pick a CPU - if your primary use is gaming - that has high clock speeds and good buffers on all levels, and for a GPU just the best you can get within your budget. It’s best to have both balanced and just change settings accordingly, as a more powerful GPU will allow to play at higher resolutions without losing FPS at all in some cases. There’s no “one size fits all” answer here, sadly
So was it a waste if I spent too much on the 3070ti ?
Not necessarily, it’s a pretty potent GPU - chances are you’ll replace the entire rest of your PC first before having to replace the 3070ti in this case lol
