Hello, this message is appearing in the console. Since I have no experience, I’m just starting to mess with this, I didn’t understand if this is a change that is being made and will be resolved in the next updates or if I need to take some action and change some part of the code to comply with this change. Can someone guide me, please? Thanks.
Read the link in the second message; this doesn’t mean anything is “wrong” with your server as this is allowed behavior and is in fact a safer way to configure it. Unless you know this is causing any issues, just ignore it.
Yes, I read the content of the link. That’s exactly why I was unsure whether I should take any action and change the code. If I want to change it, where exactly should I change it? As I said, I’m new to this and I couldn’t find any information about it in the documentation. Thanks for your attention.
Directly from that post:
It won’t let me into the server because they changed the player.json thing, what should I do because anyone that enters the server it’s trying to verify their steam ?
One has nothing to do with the other at all, you’re way mistaken; some frameworks do check for a Steam identifier by default, and your server console will tell you exactly what to do - either get a Steam Dev API key and use it, or disable the Steam check if you don’t care for having players’ Steam identifiers.
