Vultr VPS Help :)

I have recently got a Cloud VPS from Vultr hosted in Aussie as that is where my player base is from, and as far as I have been told by others I have to port forward. I can do that fine but do I do it on the VPS or do I do it through my main PC with the ip etc. of the VPS?

Neither, ports on Vultr boxes are automatically opened when they are being used.

I have set it up and ran the server inside the VPS and multiple people couldn’t see the server in the list or multiple IPs of the VPS etc. wouldn’t work either.
