[VORP] Fieryprojectile

:comet: Fiery Projectile | Mystical Explosive Throw

The Fiery Projectile is an advanced combat script for RedM that allows players to conjure and hurl objects imbued with fiery energy. Combining immersive visual effects with adjustable throwing physics, it is the perfect tool for elemental beings or alchemists looking to make an impact on the battlefield.

:glowing_star: Key Features

  • Force-Based Physical Throw: The object is launched using a force vector calculated from the player’s camera direction, allowing for free and parabolic aiming.
  • Customizable Explosion System: Supports all 31 native engine explosion types, allowing for everything from small fire detonations to massive destructive blasts.
  • Particle Trails (PTFX): The projectile utilizes a particle system to create a visual fire trail throughout its trajectory, increasing visual feedback for both attackers and defenders.
  • Immersive Feedback: Includes a configurable Camera Shake system, which shakes the screen of nearby players proportional to the explosion’s intensity.
  • Hybrid Integration: Can be configured to work as a consumable item or via commands, facilitating integration with any VORP server.

:gear: Technical Configuration (Config.lua)

The script is designed to be completely plug-and-play, with variables exposed for easy adjustment:

Force = 150.0, -- Throwing force (Aim and range)
Explosion     = 5,                          -- Explosion type (Fire/Impact)
DamageScale = 1.0, -- Explosion damage and radius scale
CameraShake   = 2.0,                        -- Screen shake intensity

:hammer_and_wrench: Usage Demonstration

  1. Via Item: The player uses the fieryprojectile_item, which triggers the conjuring animation and enables the throw.
  2. Via Command: Typing /fieryprojectile instantly activates the power, ideal for testing or keybind-based skill systems.
