This would override someone’s personal preference (which is shared across other servers), which is never a good thing without giving the user an option to prevent this.
Shouldn’t be too hard, and doesn’t need a full rework if you know what you’re doing.

Hey I am having some issues with the permissions file. I have read the documentation several times. I have watched a video. But my permissions dont work quite right. I put my steam hex id in the spot for group.admin. I tried changing teleport from builtin.everyone to group.admin but my buddy was still able to teleport. I also commented out the vMenu.WeaponOptions.All so i can change which weapons are allowed. I then uncommented “add_ace builtin.everyone “vMenu.WeaponOptions.APPistol” allow”. This has the effect of all menus aside from pistol being locked but when i try and click on the APPistol in the menu I am notified i do not have permission. My friend tried it and he did not have permission either.
I have screen shots of all related lines in the server.cfg and the permissions.cfg that I have been able to determine are relevant. I have also cleared the cache folder on both the server and client to no avail. I am also on a zaphost server.

Hello, i am using the latest version of vMenu, and when i try to “spawn saved ped” i get the default mp ped. This mostly happens on a full server(75slots). Any ideas why?

hello I have a question can you get V menu so get the Noclip menu in the V menu from F2 way e.g. to F10 does that work?
Set things how you want…then go into misc settings go all the way to the bottom and select save personal settings.
Hey do you have vMenu installed using zap hosting plugins? I had a similar issue, I removed vMenu using zap plugins and then reinstalled the latest version of vMenu like any regular resource…it solved my problem. The way you have it setup looks correct…I had the same issue…everything was done correctly but zap does something weird that didn’t let the permissions work…I hope this helps.
I seem to be having an issue when trying to add addon vehicles into the .json file. I add the vehicles like it says but when I get in game the menu says “vehicles are not being streamed correctly, vehicles unavailable” but when I type in the spawn name they spawn just fine. I’m kinda stuck any help?
It says vMenu is set to ignore permissions and when i go into the config it says
“setr vmenu_use_permissions true”
So im not sure whats happening here.

make sure you have commas placed correctly after each vehicle
make sure you place " exec resources/vMenu/config/permissions.cfg " at the top of your server.cfg….also are you using zap hosting?
Do I need to put all my vehicles in a folder named “addons” in my resources? Cause all my vehicles are just in a vehicle folder in my resources.
in your vMenu folder you will see a config folder…in that folder you will see a addon.json file…open the file and that is where you add the cars. should look like this.

Oh ok I appreciate the help for sure so just replace the text in the config file with the vehicle name? Does it matter it it’s ELS and non-els cause I use both on my server.
