So I think I was unclear about what I meant.

My issue is that people can reenable their map even if they don’t have the GPS in their inventory and they do it using the vMenu (disabling and reenabling)

No I get this, but you can just force it to be turned back off if it’s visible in your script?

is there a way to disable the noclip option all together i have changed the key required from f2 to something else and the key is still staying on f2 i have cleared cache also

Remove the permission for it.

I’m having issue restricting permissions for general users, when I join a localhost as the only player without admin I can still access all group.admin permissions even though there aren’t any admins added.

server.cfg:

Are you sure you’re not adding yourself to the group.admin group either via some other resource like essentialmode or even just in the server.cfg?

It frequently occurs when a player is teleported to a dlc interior and back, whether the teleportation is done with vmenu or another resource. I’ve also seen it happen (albeit much less reliably) when simply traveling a long distance in a vehicle or with no clip. It occurs occasionally after entering and exiting an instance. I will spend a little more time trying to narrow down a reliable way to repeat it.

Does this only happen when there’s x or more amount of players online? or does this also happen if you’re the only one on the server?

So im not sure why. I had no issues at all with any other source, but when i updated essential mode i started to get mysqlite errors for vmenu. I had no issues with vmenu prior to updating the other source. But the error is SQLite for vmenu so…

Not sure why that’d be related, unless FXserver somehow doesn’t support 2 C# resources using SQLite? doubt it. Not sure what the issue is.

vMenu is not working for me. And I’m not exactly sure why.

I currently have 3.0.3 (Latest Version) of vMenu installed into my DefaultFX Server and have my permissions.cfg in my server’s mail directory. Also in my server.cfg, I have vMenu’s permissions executed. As far as I know, that is the entire process of install vMenu and it still doesn’t work. All versions under 3.0.0 work just fine for me, it’s when I install 3.0.1 or up. If anybody could help, that’d be great. Thanks in advance!

Any errors or warnings? Yes? Post them here. No? Then i don’t know what the issue is, I guess you’re hopeless at that point since there’s nothing that I can do without errors, warnings or logs.

every thing is working great except this error which appeared after latest essentialmode update they added “libSQLite.Interop.so” file which already exist in vemnu folder, when i remove it the error didn’t show up but i get another error from essentialmode , i think this file is interfering with the vmenu one

Idk, possibly essentialmode uses a different version of SQLite which might fuck up if used on the same server by different resources. idk

I do have one request from an admin point of view, can you add the option to disable the menu or certain features of the menu for certain players on the server?

you’ve just described vMenu’s core feature. Almost EVERYTHING is configurable using permissions and/or convars.

Tell them to turn on voice chat. That’s not a vMenu issue unless they have errors/logs that proof that vMenu’s crashing their voice chat.

When I put the permissions.cfg in my server folder with server.cfg, when I get in game, the weather like like flash… kinda weird. It’s definitely only when I have permissions in the same folder as I said… so, I’m not sure how to get around this?

Of course , i have luck because i use zap hosting so i just uninstall version from there , and install from zap resource on next step i take version again from there

If you want to disable it for everyone, you could just simply remove the noclip toggle key.

But, if you want to enable it for only a certain group. You can edit in the code so in this section, you change it to add_ace group.<Desired Group> "vMenu.NoClip" allow

I installed vmenu on my new vrp server. When I start the server it tells me that vmenu has been set to ignore permissions. The permissions and the script is an exact copy from my esx server. What is causing this?

OML I FIXED IT LETS GO so basically whatever your start/stop recording keybind is that’s your vmenu opener.
