I’m having exactly the same Issue and its been like that for over a month, still can’t find a fix:
someone told me that it was because of my PL, but it doesnt matter how much PL i have. It happens suddendly.

Desktop 2021.03.23 - 11.18.24.01_Trim (10% pl)
Desktop 2021.03.13 - 22.54.38.01_Trim (14% pl)

I’ve tried this so far:

Format PC twice.
Verified GTA Files
Uninstalled GTA and FiveM
Changed Graphic Settings to the lowest.
Deleted caches.xml
I put somebody’s else citizen folder into my FiveM folder and that didn’t help

Hope we can find some help.

I´ve the same issue and I was trying everything, one day it was normal, the other day not, I checked everything like u and reset my graphic card, installed newest updates. It´s a problem of FiveM, they must fix it but they still don´t do anything

I found something interesting. I turned graphic settings in game to the lowest, then went to the nvidia control panel: Right Click desktop > Nvidia Control Panel > 3D Settings > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings.
On Program Settings added the FiveM_gtaprocess.exe then capped the max frames to 80.
Went to the FiveM ingame graphic settings again, and lowered the DirectX to the 10 version.

Somehow this helped just a BIT with the problems. It happens often but not as much as before. Hope this could help someone.

I have the same problem, I could not find a solution.

I’m having similar issues. I normally get 144 FPS constant but when the flickering starts, it will absolutely tank. Below is a short gif of what it looks like. I have also noticed that when it happens, the person flickering cannot hear me ingame. So there is something more than graphical glitches going on here - my client seems to not register, or constantly try to connect to the other player and is failing.

I’ve also tried clean install of both GTA and FiveM, different DirectX versions, clean install of GPU drivers. The only thing that worked today for me was reducing my graphics settings from Very High to Medium and it appears to have mostly resolved it.

Same thing to me, This issue are getting the game unplayable! any solutions? DEV’s seems to do not care about this problem!

Thank god someone have the same problem that I have. Unfortunately, I have not found any solution. I’ve been looking for it for MONTHS. If anyone who’s reading this post know how to fix it, please help us.

GOOD NEWS GUYS! I have found the solution for this freacking bug… so, basicly is a Internet/Route problem! right now I’am using a VPN and the problem is solved, when possible I will call my internet provider and ask to change my route (The VPN I was using is AVG VPN)
