Vehicle Liverys not working | Showing Outdated livery

So I have a fleet of vehicles in game I made 2 of the 3 liverys our state and pd liverys made by me work perfectley no problems. We had someone make our sherrifs office liverys I put them on the cars they all worked and appeared in game those are the only liverys on the vehicles our custom ones. Although some people still see the outdated livery on the vehicle I dont know how. The livery Fivem is showing is not in the YTD file at all, where is the server getting this livery to even load on the car. For some people it shows the correct livery we made for some it does not I have never seen this before and is only happening for the livery we paid someone to make Ill attach pictures that show this. Everything is isntalled correctly I dont know whats happening.

It’s likely being loaded from cache on the client, tell the players having this issue to simply clear their FiveM cache and it should work

Did this and cleared server cache still happening to me let me double check I have mine cleared

They appear for like.2 seconds then it switches to the old sherrif livery like the ones in the ytd appear when i spawn for .2 seconds then it swaps to this livery thats not in the file

Huh, that’s pretty strange - have you tried clearing server cache as well then? And obviously make sure there’s only one YTD with this name that’s on the server being loaded

Yea just cleared server cache, and the only ytds are the one in the picture posted. I really dont know its so weird never seen this before been developing for years.

Alright, some specifics - when the new livery was created, was it created on a fresh file or a copy of an already existing livery for that vehicle? And in what app?

So im going to use one of my liverys I that I made a example as that one is also bugged I made it on a fresh template in gimp then exported and replaced the old livery in open iv exported viewed in the ytf and it all looks good and put in game

Seems this is just happening to me on my server, I uninstalled fivem Cleared server cache re installed fivem cleared cache again nothing.

Were the MipMaps baked when the livery is exported in GIMP?

I did not use minimaps to create mine. Simply created over template and exported as png. The guy we paid for liverys used minimaps. I was told to set minimap level to 1 in the ytd which I did then put in game.

Export the original file you created into DDS instead with MipMaps generated; livery files should never be exported without MipMaps and into anything but the DDS format, at least in my experience, so that may very well be the cause of your issue

EDIT: As for compression, you’ll need to play around but DXT5 is the usual first choice; use DXT3 if you have issues with 5

Will do I’ll look into it the only reason why im not too big into this solution and I think its something else as all the liverys without minimaps and dds format work for me its the one with minimaps and dds format that dont :joy: You are right though I know i should be using minimaps and dds for higher quality. Whats weird is everyone else they work for they appear as the liverys so its something with me. I re installed fivem multiple times I really have no idea where its even getting these liverys to show me as there is zero files in the server for this livery its showing. Im at a loss and its kind of important as I stream the server which is our biggest form of brining in players.

That said I really wouldn’t know, if you’re the only with this issue after reinstall and stuff like that there is literally no reason for it to be happening like this lol

Yea I have no clue, we switched our hosting provider and essentialy rebuilt the server for unrelated reasons. The cars still show the incorrect liverys for me im at a complete fucking loss right now.

You can try again by setting all the code values ​​in vehicles.meta, which includes the distance at which the car will appear, to 500. As far as I understand, there is a situation that depends on distance.
