Important parts

What is the issue you’re having?
Everything seems fine until after the server loading screen, everything goes black and there is a small loading circle on the bottom right and something about compiling assets, sits loading for over 10 minutes and then I get an error saying an early exit trap was triggered.

What are you trying to do? play on a drifting rp server.

What have you tried already to fix the issue? Uninstalled gta, uninstalled fivem, deleted all residual files after uninstalling, reinstalling. Deleted fivem cashe folders, windows temp folders, prefetch folder, citizenfx files, etc. Tried various yt video suggestions and forum suggestions. Triple checked firewall settings, able to load into gta story mode and gta online.

Error screenshot (if any):

What did you do to get this issue? uninstalled gta and fivem over a year ago cause I just wasn’t playing enough to have it use up storage space, buddy convinced me to reinstall it and play racing/drifting servers with him, upon reinstalling i have had this issue.

What server did you get this issue on? Be specific and name some, ‘all of them’ by itself isn’t useful!
Every server i’ve tried.
EchoRP (which i used to play an unhealthy amount of)
FreeroamRP
Impulse99
FiveM test server (b1604)

does this include nvidia overlay? i do use shadow play.

Ok so i made sure any overlay software is off (game bar, steelseries, steam, shadowplay, etc) and that did not fix the issue. Using the “FiveM . net b1604” test server for testing fix suggestions.

Hm, so this is likely a custom assets issue. Upload a .log file from when the crash occurs after loading

You have some app messing with the CPU Priority of the FiveM game process, “game boosters” would do so - make sure to disable all such apps.
