Unable to change vMenu key from M to F1

Hello. So I’m trying to change the vMenu key to F1 instead of M, and I know how to do it, changed the “vmenu_menu_toggle_key” to 288 which is the F1 key, but it’s still M when loading the server.

Could anyone please send me a vMenu file that only has it set to F1 with no other permissions? I’ve looked everywhere, and tried everything, and I’m un the urge of losing my mind here. Thanks, and hope everyone is having a great day.

clear the cache of the vmenu

There is no file called cache in there?..

in your server cache it should be before resources

That didn’t seem to work mate, it’s still set to M

i dont have a clue are you sure there not set as local keys ?

did you exec permissions.cfg in your server.cfg?
you need copy permissions cfg from config folder in vmenu to path where you server cfg file located
and then write “exec permissions.cfg” in your server.cfg

This worked and if you’re a little confused like me when i read it he’s saying that you copy and paste the permissions.cfg file where your server.cfg file is at along with cach, db, resources etc. then you go into the server.cfg and write " exec permissions.cfg" under your resources… not sure how to say it but where you write; exmaple: ensure vMenu.

I’ve added this to my server.cfg and it still isn’t working. Additionally the console says that line is unreadable.
