This is something i have had on my mind a while. I want to get this message out there. And this is a serious message.
I’ve been on FiveM a long time. I’ve joined public servers from ESX to client sided trainers and most of them is full of FailRP and inactive admins. If you are an owner of a public server that is always populated but constantly has FailRP happening and you have hundreds of reports or 10’s of reports everyday. it’s time you start hiring ACTIVE admins or make your server whitelisted or take it down. What is the point of making your dream come true, making a server, having the server populated then being able to patrol everyday but THEN, have it ruined by trollers and FailRP and then you dont have any good Role-Play? It’s pointless.
Here’s my point: Majority of Public Server’s are just filled with FailRP. If you have a lot of people who RP the way you want them to, jot them down on a piece of paper then make the server whitelisted and invite them to it. That way, you can have realistic RP without any issues everyday. If you want to keep the server public and want less FailRP, hire ACTIVE admins and remove the inactive admins. It would make your server so much better.
BLACKLIST every single heavy weapon. Rifle’s. snipers. explosives (grenades) shotguns. Keep weapons like Micro SMG, sawnoff shotgun, pistol. Restrict all vehicles and weapon which does includes supercars. Find and add a script where no one can put on godmode at all. Im not sure if it’s a thing, but find a script where it disables torque and power boost.
If you do all of those things above, your server will have less FailRP. It would be more restricted and it will keep the server sane. It will also make the server 100 times better and will have more realistic RP that you wanted. I do own a server myself that is public but i am thinking of making it whitelisted to avoid trollers and FailRPers.
If this shone a light in your head, good. If this dimmed a light in your head, then well do what you want. This is something i want all public servers to look at and take a note of.
