The decline of these forums

I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I’d like to hear your opinion on the current state of these forums.

From my point of view, there’s no oversight whatsoever:

  • Very low-quality scripts, made with chatgpt, that offer zero support if there’s any kind of malfunction.

  • Ymaps (FPS killers) at exorbitant prices.

  • Poorly formatted posts, not following the proper template, without informing the client, and in other languages.

  • If any moderator is seeing this, please try to keep things under control so the forums don’t get filled with junk. I think there should be some kind of control over who can or cannot post in these forums.

What do you think?

Using AI isn’t the problem. Most people use it in some way, and that’s fine if you understand what you’re making. The problem is when people just copy and paste AI output without knowing how it works or fixing anything. That leads to very low-quality scripts, bad performance, and no support.

I took a year break, worked on some projects for other studios, and when I came back, the overall quality felt much worse. There’s still good work here, but it’s getting buried by low-effort AI content.

I completely agree. That’s what I meant. I usually check the new posts every morning (in this case, resources for RedM), and out of five new ones, only one is worthwhile or from a reliable developer. As I said before, there should be a filter when allowing posts.
