You enter the city as a Proxy and build your own path through an open world filled with jobs, missions, heists, robberies, factions, police, businesses, hidden locations, events and other players.
Every opportunity comes with a risk.

The Blackout isn’t built around one activity.
You can spend your time completing PvE missions, working jobs, running businesses, exploring the city, hunting for rare loot, completing robberies or preparing for large-scale heists.
But the world remains dangerous.
Other players operate in the same city, meaning a normal job, robbery or loot run can turn into a completely different situation.

There isn’t one predefined way to survive.
The server features a large selection of Proxy identities, classes and factions built around different playstyles.
You can start as something simple such as a street criminal, driver, burglar, or basic patrol officer, then move into more specialized roles as you progress.
Some identities are built around crime and profit, while others are built around power and control, law and order, tech and intel, or risk and reward, while those who know where to look can uncover more specialized paths hidden deeper inside the X Grid.

Death has consequences, Gear can be lost, opportunities can disappear, and the city keeps moving whether you’re ready or not.
Heists, jobs, businesses, hacking, world events and hidden systems all connect back into the same survival loop.

The deeper you go, the more the X Grid reveals.
