The script forces every player to play at 60 FPS. Players with an FPS higher than 60 will be kicked from the game after 60 seconds if they do not lock their FPS to 60
If I remember correctly, at high fps the vehicles are a little bit faster.
if your fps is high, when you pour a gasoline can on the ground, the value decreases faster
it’s like when we open a game made in 1990-2000 on a new generation PC and everything is fast.
At 30 FPS, the game renders 30 frames per second, meaning each frame lasts approximately 33.3 milliseconds. At 60 FPS, each frame lasts 16.7 milliseconds, while at 120 FPS, it’s 8.3 milliseconds.
Higher FPS provides smoother motion and faster input response since the game updates your actions more frequently.
Faster frame rates slightly improve input response time, but this advantage is marginal in GTA 5 due to its focus on single-player and cooperative modes, not fast-paced competitive play.
On FiveM, where synchronization is more critical, server-side logic often determines gameplay fairness. Players with higher FPS may see smoother motion, but it doesn’t create major disparities in game mechanics.
As a server owner you should just focus on optimizing your current and existing scripts rather then adding-on to an already ‘most likely’ cluster of a mess in terms of scripts which cause for unwarranted spikes.
A script like the above is very unnecessary as this just adds on to an already clusterfuck of a mess in terms of scripts, I’ve seen some dumb things in my days here, this is one of them.
