I was looking through Tebex control panel and didn’t seem to find it, but is there any way to track if a resource that you sell has been transferred to another account?
Not in your control panel sadly.
But you can check it in the keymaster.
- go into the created asset page https://keymaster.fivem.net/assets
- and click the “Find user licenses” button https://keymaster.fivem.net/asset-grants/lookup
Once there you can either enter the buyers name or the the persons name that got it after transferring.
I wasn’t aware of the lookup on keymaster, so thank you for that. That’ll work to an extent, that only really works if we know who the original purchaser was.
I was hoping for more of an asset tracker, to see if any original purchaser had transferred it to another user.
Outside of ‘out of general interest/metrics’, what would you do with that information? This sounds a bit like a prelude to ‘catching perceived abuse and then acting based on that’.
I’ve had an uptick in people asking for assistance and/or “don’t have the package in keymaster” from people that was not the original purchaser. And it would be nice to be able to see when licenses change hands so i dont have to play detective to see who actually has legit access to my resource.
I feel like this would be helpful for devs not to waste time with scammers.
Right, but wouldn’t the usual lookup feature work there?
Yea most likely, prior to today, I wasn’t aware of this feature. So next time the situation arises I can let you know
