Hello everyone,
this is my first post and I apologize if this is the wrong category.
I recently purchased several MLOs from a creator who offers the same MLOs (and more) in a 400€+ Package as well. After implementing, 2 MLOs close to each other wouldn’t work together because of collision issues.
I didn’t think much of it, knowing how these things are handled in the community I was sure that this was an oversight and could be fixed easily by talking to the creator. That I did, through their ticket system in Discord where I never got a reply for about 3 weeks now.
So I contacted Tebex. There was no indication on the creators website that both MLOs won’t work together, which is underlined by the offering of an MLO pack that contained way more MLOs in close proximity than the 2 I have bought. I was hoping to get a refund for one of those MLOs, as I can’t use them together. Independently, they work fine, bur as you are all aware, only one collision file can be used and there is no “compatibility”-collision file.
To my surprise, Tebex said that their policy is that regardless of how many MLOs you buy (from the same creator), even if it is a whole pack, like a complete overhauled neighborhood, there is no requirement for multiple MLOs to work together.
Again - we are talking about MLOs from the same creator. And I honestly gotta say that I find that kind of a very customer unfriendly stance. I have to admit that I didn’t look into their ToS or policies, but I am somewhat sure that this particular fact isn’t listed in there.
I mean I am European, a customer rights snob in the eyes of most Americans I assume and I accept the general policy that refunds won’t be issued, I even accept it in this case, I knew what I was getting into (although: Do you have a chance not to - realistically?). But that MLO policy feels like something I don’t find wrong just because I am used to pro-consumer-rights.
