Update: I tried reverting my graphic drivers to older NVIDIA drivers, disabling every piece to Microsoft Defender and Antivirus protection, I verified I was signed into both my Epic and Social Club accounts that contain GTA V, I have tried deleting cache folders, digitalentitlements folder, reinstalling FiveM and GTAV multiple times. Nothing seems to work for me. Every server I try to join is either stuck downloading the last asset or it just stays at the loading screen no matter how long I wait. According to the logs, I get all the way to ‘MainThrd/ ^2Game finished loading!’ but nothing ever happens. I have ran out of things to try and any help would be greatly appreciated on this! Running GTA V through Epic works perfectly fine too.
tried using a VPN, reinstalling everything (FiveM, Social Club, GTAV), moving the FiveM installation folder to the same drive where GTA is located… all the same result. Im stuck and don’t have a clue what to do next. Maybe its an NVIDIA issue?
Finally was able to load into a server after days of trying different things. I think what fixed it was making sure GTA was installed in my C: drive (same drive where Windows is located), disabling Microsoft Defender and its Antivirus features (Cloud Protection and Real Time) then I copied the FiveM application into my GTAV directory and ran it as Administrator. First server I joined took a while to download everything (which had never happened for me up til this point) then finally was able to be in the game.
