You would need to modify your RPF files on client side.

oh ok, so theres only client side?

ehm sure you can modifie the Radio Station Server Side what you need is create a folder what you want to call it like customradio and there you need:
__resource.lua
in there you type the Radio what you want to change if you want like Radio East Los FM you need to type those lines:
data_file ‘AUDIO_WAVEPACK’ ‘RADIO_08_MEXICAN’

files {
‘RADIO_08_MEXICAN/mex_final_mix_32.awc’
}

and then you save it after that you create a Folder called: RADIO_08_MEXICAN
and there you put a custom file named: mex_final_mix_32.awc
and that’s it.

Really quick off topic, but why does this same sort of method from gta374 not work for visuals as well?

First of all this video is completely wrong.
Second, the idiot on the video has no clue what he’s doing.

Referring to the original question.

Is there a method to stream from a source such as Spotify or iTunes into FiveM as a custom radio station. The method of doing so could be a live stream, or a play list that is saved in the application.

This would be perfect for the community.

Thank you.

Hi!
You have to make an online radio station.
Download IceCast, make a server
Download VLC Media Player, where you can stream your songs to icecast.
After that, you drop your link in the custom radio script, and it’s done :smiley:
I hope it was helpful

Bruh…you dont even need icecast, thats old. You can stream any online station thats broadcast via shoutcast that has a web address. The issue is how many listeners is your package. I pay 5.99 a month for 200 slots and 190 bits which is better than CD quality.

My man you’ve replied to a 3 year old topic, saying “its old” lol. Icecast is still a very viable option regardless of how “old” it is lol.

Dude Im an online DJ…NOBODY uses Icecast anymore. Thats like using SAM2 Broadcaster or WinAMP…catch up my boy cause youre definitely light years behind. And to have even suggested it as recent as 3 years ago proves it

Thats cool dude. My icecast station has been up 24/7 for over 6 years never has issues and always works. But to necro an old thread to say something is old is not productive.

If I’m providing relevant CURRENT information, that actually is easier to use and doesnt run the risk of being discontinued in the near future then, its more productive than going back and forth
