Hello, when i play FiveM and its only FiveM, GTA Online works fine, i play and randomly the Steam Overlay dissapears, while it dissapears i cant do nothing in Fivem ( GTA ), esc, F8 doesnt work, cant open or type in chat and i cant move my characters ( this includes driving ) a total FiveM Freeze, but when i try doing Alt Tab it works fine, after the steam overlay gets back everything works fine, when i disabled the steam overlay on steam - instant FiveM crash, tried 3times always crash unfortunetely dont have the SS for this time when im writing it but try to get one when i crash again, also when the steam overlay is gone for too long the game crashes for whatever reason, i know im running out of RAM and cant do nothing about it ( on Idle i have 3-3.3GB and when i play it goes to 7.9GB - my limit ), also saw that this issue happens when im maxing out on RAM but it never happened before, also when i play Windows decides to turn off my Razer Synapse, Nvidia things, and AI Suite 3 which when that happens my CPU overheats due to Intel Stock crappy Cooler ( i manually set it to max speed and when its closed it changes back to normal which isnt fast enough to cool my cpu )

in background i run:
Avast ( Windows defender take roughly 200-300MB for whatever reason so i changed it )
Razer Synapse
Steam
AI Suite 3
Nvidia drivers thingy
and then just the services that Windows need and the software needs,
i added FiveM and GTA V on exceptions in Avast but well nothing worked
Jesus, 3GB at idle is crazy. Use task manager and see exactly what is using what, also I’d run a virus scan, just to be sure nothing nasty is running away in the background.
i done few AV Scans, both in Windows and Safe mode and other things but nothing was discovered and AV is up to date, currently downloading game after it finish ill do SS of things that are running ( so roughly 1hr if the download speed wont change that much )
these are Screenshots of how it looks when im about to play FiveM ( i needed some software to save these SS because web browser takes too much ram and i dont use it when playing FiveM, it usually sits between 3-3.3GB but well )
Try setting the Windows page file size to a minimum of 16 GB. GTA V likes to use around (VRAM size * 1.5) of system RAM, so if you have 4 GB of VRAM, GTA will already end up using 6 GB, add to that the OS, background processes and Chrome browser processes from servers and R* Social Club, and it might be the page file won’t expand fast enough if it’s set to automatic.
Also, >‘2x 8GB RAM’, yet only 8 GB is detected… I think you might’ve got a broken DIMM
(and replace that hard drive! really, 95 reallocations is horrible)
fk, my bad i meant 2x4GB, i wish i had 2x8GB, forgot to proof read what i wrote and made mistake, my bad, its 2x4GB, ( tried to add as many details i could and got lost meanwhile )
ill try to manually add the page files to 16GB and see if that will somehow help
yea i ordered the HDD just waiting for it to arrive, i would love to buy SDD but well dont have budget to get that luxery,
