Have you checked that FXServer\server\run.cmd exists?

If yes, to get the reason of the cmd closing itslef do the following:

  • Open command prompt
  • Execute “cd /d C:\FXServer”
  • Execute “.\starter.bat”

Instead of closing instantly the cmd should now tell you what went wrong.

Hope this helped.

thankyou

I had 2 things that caused this.

  1. I had accidentally typed wrong path to the FxServer in starter.bat. It couldn’t find the file, so it threw an error and quickly closed itself.

  2. Avast have been acting funny and decided to move FxServer to virus quarantine.
