[SOS] Need help with vMenu Permissions (using DiscordAcePerms)

I can’t for the life of me get Permissions to work with vMenu and I can’t figure out why.

Description Of My Problem:
I have group inheritance setup correctly (see below), I have it so that group.owner can do everything, as well as inherits group.admin’s permissions to be safe.

.
I use DiscordAcePerms to give myself permissions for vMenu, both resources start and work, no error messages. In the console, when I join, it even says I am granted, group.owner permissions, yet I don’t have the “everything” permissions (see below). This also goes for my admins, if I assign them Time/Weather options, it won’t apply to them either.

.
I reinstalled both vMenu and AcePerms multiple times and followed both install guides to a tee. Since I am using a VPS, my permissions.cfg is located in server-data (a.k.a the same folder as my server.cfg) (also see below).

Another weird thing is that even if I assign myself, group.owner, using steam identifiers, it still won’t give me any permissions. I thought at least if I manually assign myself, group.owner, it would work, but apparently not.

I’ve tried everything I could think of and just can’t figure it out, been working on this for a week now trying everything I could think of, going through other people’s permissions complaints and couldn’t find any solution.

Has anyone had this issue? Is my permissions.cfg not working correctly? Is DiscordAcePerms not working correctly? I have no idea. I am using a VPS and I really hope anyone who has dealt with this before can help me.

Here is my permissions.cfg (30.2 KB) if it helps.

I really hope someone can help me, as it’s starting to drive me crazy, and it’s the last thing I need to get my server going.

Anyone with any ideas, even if it’s a longshot, please reply I am begging.

Thanks in advance,

Brad.

You have a problem with you’re config file. You have messed up by doing, builtin.trialModerators, builtin.admin, builtin.moderator and builtin.owner. Every single one of them should be group instead of builtin. builtin is used for everyone not groups.

Could you elaborate?

or give me some clarity on how I could fix it?
