So, I created a FiveM server that got preaty famous in Brazil where I live, after a month of RP and a huge amount of players joining a discoverd a server had just opend with the same Name and with similar Mods looks like a Knock off, Imidiatly I contacted my staff and the started investigating. The warned me that I could report them to the Five Dev community as I had that name before them.
Unless you’ve created some sort of trademark or licensing it is unlikely that the Collective will do anything since there is no violation of the Terms of Service. Look at the original Department of Justice roleplay server started by BXBugs, Jeff Faviano and all of them… now go to the server browser and just type in DOJ… How many do you find?
Unfortunately there’s not much that you can do besides ensure your server is unique enough to have players continue to return.
