Attempted Fixes:

  • Server Restart
  • server.cfg check, for disabling “mumble”
  • Resource check
  • Change “voip-server-mumble.dll” filename to something different (gay.dll)
  • Remove “voip-server-mumble.dll”
[ 508612672] GlobalError: Could not load component manifest voip-server-mumble.dll - Windows error code 2.
  • Remove “voip-server-mumble.dll” from components.json
[ 509668843] GlobalError: Unable to resolve dependency for voip-server:mumble[0.0.0.0].

Notes:
My server uses vMenu for voice chat.
I’ve heard many things about mumble and how it is extremely buggy and still being tested, but isn’t mumble for FiveM Element Club members? I’ve heard a lot of complaints from many people, from across different servers. My biggest assumption is that mumble was accidentally enabled on all servers publicly.
I am quite positive that this is due to mumble VOIP

Does it keep like cutting out every 0.25 seconds like they are spamming the push to talk button and it sounds phased like they are talking thru a fan?

EDIT/UPDATE:
Attempted to:

  • Change “voip-server-mumble.dll” filename to something different (gay.dll)
  • Remove “voip-server-mumble.dll”

Yes, it does sound like they are talking through a fan. It’s just a rapid stutter.

anyone now a way to fix the problem? my sv have the same issue

I’m trying to find a fix, but it might not be able to be fixed without FiveM developers removing it and going back to the original voice chat system.

This Update insted of help just bring more problems

I’ve found a temporary solution is to turn your voice chat on and back off in Settings > Voice Chat only works for a few minutes though.

I know. It’s not a very good solution though.

Mumble has a dependency, you’ll have to rebuild the server after removing the dependency as well. Instructions are on the github, /docs/ folder.

I’ll take a look at it. Thanks for the reply.

How am I supposed to do this when i’m running off of Zap hosting?

I’m running off ZAP as well, but after looking at it, rebuilding the server is not the easiest thing to do. I’m just waiting for the FiveM developers to do something about mumble.

you don’t.

edit by vespura: no it’s not related to ‘zap donations’.

Seems to be fixed. Just restart your server and it should update the policy.

My server has went thru several restarts and several cache deletes. Nothing working.

Same here, the issue persists :frowning:
