[SOLVED] EUP Key is not working (ZAP-Hosting)

[SOLVED] -> Didn’t synch email adress between this forum and patreon, whilst I thought I did.

Hello!

I’ve become Patron with the cfx.re/… (15$)
I’ve linked the same email adress to the forums and Patreon.
I’ve waited for over 18 hours.
I’ve inserted and linked the custom license key in my Zap Hosting settings according to the guides Zap offers.
I’ve restarted my server and installed EUP according to the youtube tutorials. It is working in game but the permissions for the skins are still denied according to the server startup log.
The key authorisation is not appearing yet in the keymaster dashboard.

What can I expect? Anyone with the experience? Or did I do something wrong?

Solved. Had to match the e-mail adresses. I confused myself in having different accounts. It worked after a few hours.

My friend got the 15 dollar patreon for fivem but every time
he puts the custom key into zap hosting it starts up then the server goes off any fixes?

Hey!

“Custom license key (optional)” is the bar in the ZAP Hosting server settings page where he should put in the custom license key, which is obtained from keymaster.fivem.net.

It’s a private key for him and his server. The key contains the 15$ patreon membership once he has synchronized his email for this forum and for patreon. They MUST be the same.

same here

Same i share my key with my best friend and the key is not authenticating for me

does my zap hosting email have to match with my cfx.re and patreon as well?

Hi there,

No, you don’t have to use the same email as your ZAP-Hosting account. However, your Cfx.re and Patreon must use the same email I believe.

Make sure to change the license key used on your ZAP game server, as by default this is randomly generated by us. You should create a new one via FiveM Keymaster using the same Cfx.re Account which has Patreon privileges.

Please have a look at our Custom License Key guide which covers the full process.

Hope this helps!

Hey zap hosting so I did everything and it shows that I have Element Club Argentum and I changed the key master as well and linked my patreon to my cfx.re account and it’s still not letting me use the EUP

Hi there,

This is unusual, is this still occurring? Could you let me know, are you using the txAdmin game server version, or one of the normal Linux/Windows versions?

Main reason I am asking is because for the txAdmin version, you have to go directly into the server.cfg and edit the key config line in there (via txAdmin panel or web interface Configs section). Where as for any other version, you can do it directly through the ZAP web interface. Both options can be seen on our guide.

Looking forward to your reply!

I am using the Txadmin game version. Do I need to chance the license to what the master key says? Or is there a video I can reference or a tutorial video.

Hey again,

Indeed so for the txAdmin game version, you will have to access your server.cfg file, find the sv_licensekey key line and change the value here to your own license key that you have created on the FiveM Keymaster site.

You can do this directly through the txAdmin Inteface via the CFG Editor tab as seen on this guide. Save the file and then restart the server.

After this, your server should gain Patreon benefits as it will be running using your own license key that is linked to your Cfx.re Account that should have Patreon benefits. :slightly_smiling_face:

Kind regards!

When I do this (add my custom key) the server shows as offline for my co dev and friends, I can still connect fine but it just shows as “offline” for everyone else, how do I fix this?

Hi there,

When you change your license key, I believe the server identifier will also change which is why you may still see the “old” offline server under “recent servers” on your FiveM client for example. Try searching for the server in the server list again and see if you can find it there, which should now display the “new” server.

If not, double check that the sv_master1 line in your server.cfg is uncommented using a hashtag as such: #sv_master1, otherwise the server will be set to private without the hashtag.

Let me know if the issue persists. :slightly_smiling_face:

Kind Regards!
