Smart Vehicle - London Studios
Smart Vehicle (previously named Smart Ladder) is a powerful resource allowing the creation of moveable vehicle parts. The resource has empowered the creation of many types of vehicles, including the recovery truck and SWAT vehicle on our store, both by London Studios and a host of vehicles by third party developers. View the full list of compatible vehicles on our documentation page. Each of these vehicles requires you to have a copy of Smart Ladder to work, so make sure you have that first before purchasing another vehicle.
This resource also includes TWO VEHICLES with working ladders, outriggers and feet:
- British Ladder Truck
- American Tiller Ladder Truck

Video
See a cinematic demonstration of Smart Vehicle in the video below
The ladder is controlled using key binds, unlike a traditional fire truck in game. Additionally, another player can enter the cage using /entercage.
If you’re a vehicle developer you may be eligible for a free limited development copy. Get in touch with us for more information.
Full Features:
Ladder Truck Included - We’ve included a turntable ladder truck which fully works with the resource, featuring three extendable ladders, a working cage, outriggers and feet, all adjustable using controls.
Working Cage - Another player can easily enter the cage using /entercage where they may want to use the hose to attack the fire from another angle.
Vehicle Developers - Although we’ve only included one turntable ladder, we have extensive documentation found here which empowers third party developers to create vehicles compatible with Smart Ladder. The possibilities are endless and a number of developers have already created compatible vehicles, with the full list viewable here.
Controls - This isn’t controlled through camera angle like traditional base game fire trucks, we’ve utilised the full keyboard to control every element of the fire truck. This means once you get back in the vehicle, it won’t start bugging out based on camera angles.
