I have an issue where we have been having issues updating fivem.
I deleted my cache last night because i was having issues getting onto the server i play on and it is taking forever to update. stopping and starting. our internet is fine. no issues there.

I try to open fivem, and it opens the “updating fivem” box and starts to download. then it will stop either a third or half way. will not go any further.

same problem for me, all firewalls are off, stuck at 70%? (0.61/0.87mb)
other tries have been 72%, 62%
tried running as admin and tried deleting cache
I’m W7, have been running smoothly for months with no issue whatsoever
1050TI GPU, 100mbps download (checked my internet speed to see if that was the problem)

FIXED - Single Player FiveM to update -

(undid my delete of cache, so 0 modifies to original files)
open FiveM Single player, downloads fast, second update done in seconds too, and online now!

are you sure you are disabling your Virus Scanner?

yep. I have added fivem to the exception list and just to try this i have disabled that and windows firewall.

I didn’t need to delete cache, i just opened single player and it worked

I have had the same issue. disabled security and firewall. uninstalled and reinstalled but connection to the updating server is slow.
Is it because im in Australia?

All fixed. Hubby did a complete ip change and it worked.
