Slow resource downloading

Did you try to delete caches.xml and try again? Yes
System specifications i5 8600k + GTX 1080Ti + 16GB RAM
What did you do to get this issue? Was adding new resources to server.
What server did you get this issue on? My own VPS server.

When connecting to my server, it takes ages to download resources. Even small resources take a real long time. Feels like I’m back on dial-up… lol

Any clue what could cause this?

Maybe your connection is very slow (but I don’t think so)
Or your server has a slow connection. You should make a Speedtest, If your server has a connection from about 100/100 than everything should be fine.

Other users reported the same thing and server’s connection seems fine.

What resources did you add last? Try to start your server again without the “'new” resources and look If it downloads fast again.

Edit: also a CitizenFX.log file and .dmp files will help to support you.

I tried without those resources, but all resources are also slow to download, including old reliable ones.

My bad, I intented to upload those but forgot. I’m quite confused. Ping is low on server and connection is good. All users have this problem. I’m running 3 FiveM server on my VPS although I don’t think that’s related.

FiveM is barely using any network…

The log file is full of

Looks like either a network issue or something please check if

• Any antivirus or url filter isn’t blocking
• You have enough disk space
• Your network isn’t blocking

The server is loading just fine for another user. But two of us still have the issue.

No antivirus running.
No URL filter.
Plenty of disk space.
Network is working fine and is not blocked.

I cleared FiveM cache and redownloaded at normal speed… But resources still take forever.
Tried disabling Windows Defender, no luck.
I rebooted, no luck.

Used VPN, no luck… What’s going on with my network ? Haven’t changed anything, and it worked out well earlier… Oh well…

If I understand that right, it seems like a Client problem. Try to Join another server. If it downloads slowly again, than make sure that you haven’t any antivirus installed and make the steps from the reply above again in your PC.
