So i dont know how to add skins on a car without a skin slot like you know what i mean? if some one understands what i am saying And knows the answer please Reply
Searching the forums helps…
I know how to add liverys thats like easy simple but i am saying so you know when you replace the livery like what if its a unmarked car how would i add the skin
If you want the car to have a unmarked skin you would just make a transparent image that has the size of 2048x2048 to make it 2k or you can make it 4k wich is not gonna do a whole lot except for increasing file size.
I recommend using 2048x2048 for the transparent image.
no no ok so lets say i have a UNMARKED car and i want to add a skin to it how would i do that
edit the template file, if it doesnt have one google if its setup for one. if its not then youre out of luck
What? im a little confused
lets break it down
edit the template file
if the car you downloaded came with a template, edit it
if it doesnt have one google if it is setup for one
aka google like “2018 unmarked charger liverys” if you find none for the specific vehicle you’re looking for you’re shit outta luck
No like okay so you know how when you add a livery on a car you will replace the one that is on there what if there isnt one on there
That is unpossible. It might have a different name. It doesn’t always have to be sign_#
Can you just link the vehicle because we can’t really tell you a lot if we don’t know what the vehicle texture directory is like and what textures are in there.
Look for 2048x2048 or bigger I have seen 1024x1024 in the images size that will help you determine what’s the skin of you don’t know the name, now if you want to make it all black or all blue just get paint.net get a car template or extract the skin make a new .png image that size and make it one whole color leave out that extracted skin or delete other skins and name the new image the same as one of the others you left out and import it and done
