Is anyone else having an issue where the server crashes whenever the Server API goes unavailable. Seems to be a recent issue as it used to be fine when the API went offline.
I’m guessing you’re using that horrible, inaccurate, shit heroku site. Yea, don’t even use that.
There’s no such thing as ‘the server API’. Servers don’t have any dependencies on any service other than keymaster validation, which only is tested at startup.
Well whenever that goes offline the server always crashes
There will, unlikely, be any correlelation between that site displaying ‘Offline’ and your server going offline.
Well the unlikely is true 
as every single time it displays ‘Offline’ the server crashes.
