Rockstar Editor while trying to open clip (build 3258)

My rockstar editor has been crashing for the past several months while attempting to edit clips and it gives me the same error every time.

I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled FiveM and GTA as well as cleared cache.

I get this everytime I try to load a clip as well. Its something to do with FiveMs Escrow Encryption system. which I do hope they find a fix for this issue. Lots of us use Replay Editor to grab and make Awesome photos or Clips

From the logs it seems that you have an DLC_ITYP_REQUEST of a ytyp that contains a MLO definition.

v_int_20.ityp in resource prompt_vfd_4bays

This will crash R* editor

Remove it from fxmanifest and retake a new clip

Does this actually work? I don’t really trust Github to be honest

What do you mean, GitHub is owned by Microsoft and used by most major corporations. GitHub itself is safe, and the link here is open source so you can see exactly what it’s doing.

I doubt someone active here would purposefully send a solution that is malicious.

I didn’t use this myself, but like stated it is open-source so you can review the code, and if it passed approval to be posted on the forums you can safely assume it’s safe if you don’t want to bother checking. “Trusting GitHub” is not an issue here as it’s the code you are downloading, Git itself cannot do anything malicious to you lol
