I have tested both MultiV and Five Reborn. Both of them make the same fault. They use the “old” Client System.
It’s damn difficult to install this mod as if you simply copie it to the folder. There is a bunch of shit code only to join a game.
We don’t need in background running nearly 10 processes for the game only to check senseless things.
We don’t need a shit autoinstallation of the mod
We don’t need a shit autoinstallation to downgrade our game
We don’t need a shit autoinstallation to patch the game
We don’t need a shit autoinstallation to downgrade SocialClub
We download nearly 4GB of things that we don’t need.
As examble: if you use the original gta5 you need only the 500mb downgrade patch.
- Update Your Client to running with the v126.96.36.199 SocialClub (RS don’t update the client) and remove the check and autoinstall
- Remove the autopatch/downgrade and remove the check and autoinstall
- Clean up you shit bunch code… its horrible. (most files are senseless and from the old code)
At the end we have a Folder of your Mod and a Folder of the downgrade-patch to simple copy-past in the gta5 folder
Also you should rethink your system… Do we really need a server list ingame? Why not the server list and login over the Browser like Battlelog with Links (“FiveReborn.exe -user USERHASHCODE -ip SERVERIP -pw PASSWORD”) or a simple .NET-coded Window. Also you can give servers the option to allow the players to join witchout your Login-System (here like the USERHASHCODE)
it would be easier to program this because the mod start gta5 direct in the level and cute out all the lunch and main menu things.
