Replacement vehicles\Addon vehicles- finding names?

Hey all, i’m currently working on converting and adding this pack to FiveM:

However when I try to add the vehicles in and put them in I have no idea what their spawn name is under to put them in a shop or anything, is there a way to rename or find out what they are? the base files were just 3 yft\ytd files.

I tried changing it to an Add-on however I dont know what the base model for the cars were…

I have checked all the tutorials and I have a few replacements and a few addon cars but the issue is… I don’t know which name to refer to these vehicles under or how to spawn them since they didn’t come with a meta file and streaming them as a replacement wasn’t seeming to work as well.

I guess my biggest things overall are… in a replacement, how do I know what name to spawn a vehicle with, or what to put in a shop.

Same with converting to addon, if I don’t know what to call it… how can I spawn it etc?

You could youtube \ google this and get the answer but anyways.

The spawn name is literally the vehicle name shown on the ytf and ytd files
it should match what is in the vehicle.meta

spawn it would be /car 06k9

You do not need data files if you are simply replacing ingame vehicles.

the above meta you have shows a spawn name of 06k9 <- no ingame vehicle called this im sure to custom and in the vehicle.meta you attached its using the handling for the FBI2 - the granger

You could rename the ytf and ytd files to fbi2 to replace that ingame vehicle and then alter the vehicle meta to pick that up.

If its still not spawning it maybe a issue with the stream files.
so either resource loading process or an error in the data files you have made.

remember file sizes need to be below 16mb.

I have tried this both with a replacement as well as addon method and have been unable to get the vehicle to spawn which is why I asked. I have done plenty of other vehicles but most come with addon files so they’re easier (at times) but these I could not get to function so I figured I would ask in case there was something I was missing.

In the stream folder:

yes their is a problem you are trying to stream a custom vehicle.
in your stream folder you have 06k9 this is a custom car so it does not know the characteristics to pull for the vehicle such as
vehicle.meta , handling.meta or carvariations.meta

either change the file name of the ytd and ytf to police or create the vehicle.meta files, handling.meta and carvariations files you can copy this from a similar vehicle.

I took out the metas to just use it as a replacement but same issue, no car

its not a replacement car if its 06k9?

and if I do it as an addon like I was trying to do and make the meta files just use the same name for the meta files? the 06k9?
