It seems that the es_extended resource forces the “esx” tag to appear on the server list. I’ve spent hours trying to find where in the Lua code this is done so that I can remove it for a friend’s server. I’ve searched for all sorts of natives and variations of “esx” in the resource’s scripts with Notepad++ and haven’t found anything.
es_extended is a prerequisite to a few scripts my friend runs on the server, however the server is not really an ESX style server with an economy and saved characters and all that so we’d like to be able to remove the tag.
Does anyone know exactly how the tag is added? I’m starting to suspect it may actually be coded into FiveM when it detects the es_extended resource running; I think I remember a while back the ESX devs broke the FiveM ToS and there was a piece of code added to FiveM to disable it, so maybe this is something similar with the tag.
