[Releases] [Free] Cayo Perico Improvements Freeroam 4.2.2

This was a passion project of mine that began in December of 2020 to self teach myself Codewalker. It is no longer being worked on and is released “as is”. Please refrain from asking me how to do certain things, as I have more than likely answered it already and I am not focusing on this resource anymore; maybe when a new DLC drops with some props I can use, otherwise consider this “abandoned”.

Have you any Idea how i enable this with replaced standard map?, i used Liberty city and removed Lossantos with replace_level_meta and now Cayo is removed too^^

MINOR UPDATE

I have pushed a minor update to cp_config.lua which disables the annoying Flight Music when you fly a plane with no radio station selected. Some of us are just trying to RP, and we don’t need to be hit with a :copyright: strike just to get rid of this annoying music!

Open the file and set it to false to reenable it

You have an IPL loader script messing with mp maps. Remove it.

Was easier for me to say no as people expect you to do everything for them and spoon feed them, of which you just did.

Reason I didn’t bother with it is because it isn’t synced well. The peds randomize and what ped variants you see vs what I see are different. Was going to change it up so peds reacted etc but decided to just make them static.

This resource (as stated countless times) is no longer being worked on, therefore people can figure things out themselves without being spoon fed.

I understand clearly your point of view. But i like givin some tips sometimes… It wasn’t that difficult, even if not synced, at least he has a good starting point :wink:

Is there a way to remove the helicopter prop off the helipad so we can use the helipad?? Other then delete lasering it every restart…

Certainly! Load codewalker up and select mpheist4 then check Enable DLC. Wait for everything to load. Press T, start a new project and load this resource into codewalker. Fly over to Cayo Perico and select Car Generators on codewalker. Delete any vehicles, helicopters, or whatever you want.

Anyway! I was reaching out as i have a question regarding the Cayo Perico improvements resource.

Are you aware if displaying both the islands in the pause menu map and the minimap without stopping them from unloading eachothers in terms of ipls, water adjustments and such is something possible to get working?

I tried commenting some stuff with no luck so hmu if you find anything that could potentially work!
