[Release] [Standalone] [FREE] Force AOP

Title: Force AOP

Overview:
Are you tired of constantly reminding players to stay within the designated Area of Play (AOP)? So were we. That’s why we developed the Force AOP Script.

The Force AOP is a redesigned AOP system to enhance the integrity and enforcement of designated Areas of Play (AOP) within your server. This script automatically ensures that players remain within the specified AOP radius, enhancing gameplay consistency and maintaining immersion.

Features:

  • Automatic Return: If a player ventures beyond the predefined AOP boundary, the script instantly redirects them back to the designated area, ensuring they stay within the protected zone.
  • Customizable Radius: Administrators can easily configure the radius of the AOP to fit specific areas of interest or gameplay requirements.
  • Seamless Integration: The script is designed to integrate smoothly with existing server setups, providing a hassle-free implementation process.
  • Efficient Performance: Built to operate with minimal impact on server performance, ensuring a smooth experience for all players.

Benefits:

  • Enhanced Protection: Maintains the integrity of important areas by preventing unauthorized players from wandering outside the designated zones.
  • Improved Gameplay: Ensures that players remain within areas where specific rules or events are enforced, promoting a balanced and fair gaming environment.
  • Administrative Control: Provides server administrators with easy-to-use tools for configuring and managing AOP boundaries.

You should look into updating your resource manifest.

https://docs.fivem.net/docs/scripting-reference/resource-manifest/resource-manifest/

I used resource.lua instead of fxmanifest.lua because this is a legacy resource that was created on an old server build I had, before the newer format was introduced.

While fxmanifest.lua does offer more features, resource.lua is still fully supported by most builds, and the resource works perfectly fine as-is. Updating to fxmanifest.lua is an option, but not strictly necessary unless I want to leverage newer features.
