[Release] PD5M - Multiplayer PvE Police Script - Ambient Events

Running ID: The flag that triggers here is actually “flagpedhasweapons” (most of the time). RunID will get changed at some point to include Licenses etc then this will be changed as well. For now this could mean the the NPC had prior clashes with police.

Release of PD5M v0.1.3.3

  • Fixed a bug that had LaMesa-coroners spawn under a bridge on Los Santos Freeway
  • Fixed a bug that caused radialmenu to be stuck open when opening chat
  • Changes to tow and coroner-scripts to hopefully improve their behavior
  • Sorted __resource.lua-config options
  • Added three tow truck-stations

he did not make pis.

I have a problem where the E Menu dosent work for everyone, RN it works for my friend but not for me any idea how to fix it

Sent you a PM.

I have downloaded v0.1.3.3 and radial menu still stays open. I have gone on duty and still can’t seem to get the interactions of stopping cars to work. I am highly confused. Did everything this says to do. I am running an ESX server.

Hi,

this sounds like
a) an issue with the resourcename not being pd5m in lowercase only;
b) an issue that may be related to ping.

I’ll have to take a look at it.
For everyone having issues with E-menu not opening properly for every player: This is related to the affected players having a ping of over 200. I’ll create a patch for this soon.

defo change the name to pd5m. i did this and is work perfectly

Can you fix the cars pulling over to the side of the road instead of them driving up on the sidewalk? Happens almost every time. And maybe add an option to where we can place a marker and tell them where to pull over in case they don’t get all the way to the side of the road?

That second option is one I actually really like instead of a mimic function…
Currently the focus is on a callout system (expect some messages on there pretty soon, like 2 weeks or so; no fixed time though!) but I see how a marker-version could work.

Regarding them pulling over on to the sidewalk, sadly that’s not easily fixable. Please note that the behavior in the county is WAY better than in the city.

Yeah mimic sucks as the vehicle you pull over tends to move a tad faster than you do, so you have to keep adjusting yourself to get them in the right spot. But, with a marker, that should work better. And use NumPad keys to move the marker around.

As for pulling to the side, might I suggest just taking a look at LSPDFR coding (if you can) and see maybe how they did it? I’m not even sure you can see the coding, but thought I would suggest it if you haven’t already tried it. There is a way to do it as I’ve seen other FiveM servers with them pulling over to the side, I know the issue is coding it. Hopefully you’ll figure it out, but if not, no biggie. Keep working on it. Great script!

Can’t wait to check out the callouts!

yes Mimic is dumb please gawd dont add that

@Silverman

could you private message me please? I believe your vRP integration is not compatible with the newest version of vRP. I am not a professional coder by any means but i would like to offer my assistance in helping you add integration for the newest version

It’s not, it’s for vRP 0.5 (Dunko) or vRP 1.0 (vRPex) not vRP 2.0.

@Ace_Dax
Did so :smiley:

For everyone, feel free to PM me without asking in the thread. The worst thing that can happen is that I completely ignore you (unless you breach forum rules in which case I’ll report and move on ^^)

I didn’t see it in there, but was there a Call Transport option? If not, can one be added?

Is not an option, but thanks for the suggestion, that is going in the project-list ^^

Also, could you add a Call Ambulance option as well and when the ambulance arrives, they attempt CPR and if revived, they will take away the ped or leave body if not revived?

I think that one is already WIP but I’ll check it for you. Definitely on my to-do list as well :slight_smile:
