What is this?
Advanced Fire System is a standalone script for firefighters. It implements realistic features for their duties and enhances the overall experience of fire and rescue.

Usage
This script, for the most part is all automatic. Besides gear collection and the toggling of gear aspects, every other feature is automatically performed.

It is not a requirement to collect gear before duty however, default it provides necessary equipment for conducting their work.

This does not include a fire script. As far as I know this works with and without OneSync

Just to confirm this is a firefighter outfit related script only - This does not include a fire job or randomly spawning fires?
Would it be possible to also designate vehicles that we could resupply from? IRL we are able to get new air tanks from engines and heavy rescues so being able to have a config that we can add certain vehicles to for resupply would be awesome! Or even a command that lets us resupply even if we are not near the lockers would work too. I love the idea of this script but having to run to the station just to resupply is my only holdback.

I actually was thinking of some plans for something such as that. Fire crew would have to load more gear into their vehicles (amount of resupplies would be based upon the size of the vehicle). From there firefighters can resupply oxygen as well as fire extinguisher propellant (I have no idea what the offical term for the contents are so…)
I’ll get to work on an update soon (if not tonight, tomorrow)

This is somewhat possible, just change the config entry Config.OxygenLevelType to gauge or both

As someone with 20+ years in Fire, EMS, and Rescue, loading resupplies of air (not oxygen btw, it’s just compressed air), is feasible. Most apparatus carry extra bottles and heavy rescue sometimes even have cascade systems that can be used to refill the bottles.
In regards to the extinguishers however, those would never be refilled in the field with the exception of water filled extinguishers that are just pressurized by air. CO2 and Dry Chem extinguishers are typically sent off to be refilled and recharged by a private company and departments that can do it themselves would only do that at the station in a controlled environment (if you get moisture in a dry chem, it cakes up and won’t work hence, the controlled environment). For RP purposes (and IRL really) we would just carry extra extinguishers on the trucks.
I like the idea of having config options that we can add trucks to and identify on each truck how many extra bottles and extinguishers are on board though. It would really add to the RP if after a scene, the FFs had to go and restock their trucks!

Awesome!! And always glad to share my knowledge. A lot of what I have learned over the years can’t really be carried over into RP due to limitations of the game, but as much as possible that can be is great. Honestly, having limited air supply has been BIG thing that bugs me so I’m excited for this script!

Also, in regards to the restocking at lockers, is that looking for specific props or defined coordinates? Not all our station have lockers in them or if they do, they are tucked away in a “locker room” by the showers.
Just by coords, easier that way
