Since I couldn’t find any recent similar releases that actually work, I decided to make this simple resource and release it myself. The resource should be self-explanatory and will probably come in handy for anyone wanting to use other game maps instead of the default one.
Does not break anything else, such as NativeUI menu graphics or missing props.

Installation
Important: Open the archive, place the LosSantosRemoved folder in the resources folder. Placing it in any subfolder such as the [local] folder will cause it not to work. Changing the structure and/or file, folder names of the resource will also make it not work.
Other mentions
This resource could stop working correctly if GTA’s level meta changes. I will try to keep it updated if that happens.
Was tested on FXserver v6683 with game builds 2944 and 1604.
Loading progress could be stuck shortly at 17% while the game loads the new meta, this is normal.

The empty map in itself has no use obviously. This is made for people who want to run, let’s say, a server based on the Liberty City or Vice City maps and don’t need the Los Santos map as well. I saw somebody earlier on the forum that was asking to remove the default map so that he could build his own city for example… and another guy wanted to remove Los Santos so that he could only have race tracks for his racing server.
It will “delete” props as in delete their placements, not the objects themselves. I just placed a few random props I could find in CodeWalker and works fine.
There is a catch though, it will delete some of the big objects that make up buildings since these are packed in the same RPFs which are getting unloaded by the empty map:
