Overview
The FWMS (Fire Water Management System) script is designed to create a system to add additional realism to fire department roleplay by allowing players to have a dynamic water tank in their fire apparatus, and the ability to connect their apparatus to fire hydrants to add to their supply.
Main Features
- A system that allows players to equip an attack line (fire extinguisher) directly from their apparatus
- HoseLS compatible
- Dynamic water levels on each apparatus synced to all players
- Ability to connect an apparatus to a hydrant to gain additional water to fill up the water tank (tanker functionality planned)
- A realistic water meter displayed on screen using NUI
- Native compatibility with T-Notify for notifications (vanilla notifications by default)
- Demo Video

Disclaimer: This is my first major script, so if I miss or don’t notice anything please let me know! I’m also always open to suggestions to make my code more efficient or fix any other oddities you may find!
With that being said this script is still a WORK IN PROGRESS and there may be some issues that may need to be straightened out over time.

Hey, thanks for the script, seems really cool.
Just a quick suggestion on the NUI, I think it would be more organized if you put all the photos in a folder, inside the html folder, instead of them just being out in the html folder.
Also in the fxmanifest you could call all the photos easier: "html/photos/*.png"

Oh okay! Yeah I’ll definitely do that! Thank you for the advice.
Does (or will) it go truck to truck. Example Tender to engine

Unfortunately it does not have truck to truck functionality as of now, however that is a planned feature!
ok, it will be cool when you can do that
Hey man, I’m recommending this to my servers dev team, but I have 2 questions.
#1. Can you still use the fire extingusher when not on a fire engine? Ex. Leo finds a trash can on fire ETC.
#2. Do you have an update for when truck to truck support will be added?
Thanks in advance,
Dawson.

Hi Dawson,

Yes, you can still use a fire extinguisher outside of this script, as a LEO or otherwise! It only comes into play if you initiate the process with a fire engine outlined in the config.lua

Not sure exactly! I’m aiming for this weekend to complete this feature, it looks like I might have to do some re-organizing of the script to introduce this functionality.
Sorry for the late response, I’m a full time student so that keeps me busy.
Thanks for the response! Enjoy your shcooling!
