After a few months(maybe a slight bit longer…), I’m releasing something again, a long time ago I made a prison gamemode for FiveM. This was sadly lost, new years eve came along and I just wanted to make it again. I had a lot of fun playing it with people and I am quite sure others enjoyed it too.

Description

es_prisonfive is a prison gamemode for FiveM. It has 3 roles: warden, officer and of course prisoner. The prisoners task is to escape while the warden and officers attempt to prevent this from happening. There are a few unique systems this gamemode adds which are down below in the features tab.

Features

  • Warden role
  • Officer role
  • Prisoner role
  • Escape notifications
  • Role selection
  • Proper (re)spawning
  • Basic economy (using EssentialMode)
  • Reselect roles with “/role”
  • Disable alarms as warden with “/m”
  • Open celldoors as officer> with “/c”
  • Loadouts for different roles
  • No NPCs except carefully crafted ones

Update schedule

As es_prisonfive is not nearly done it will continue to receive updates, follow github to see when an update has happened. There isn’t an official release schedule available as all updates will be done when it seems fit. A live server running this gamemode will be permantly running once the gamemode is in a nicely playable state. As currently it isn’t possible to really escape as a prisoner.

  • Prison dealer for weaponry etc.
  • Civilian role to spend money outside of prison
  • Vehicle dealer
  • House ownership
  • More warden features
  • Better UI handling
  • And more!

NOTE: This won’t work just dropping it in, it’s a gamemode so won’t work with any other gamemode active. Also it needs a customized version of the PrisonFive interior to make everything work properly, which isn’t currently available (yet)

Nice job Kaner, this seems definitely interesting… are you or have you considered hosting a server with this game mode?

I was playing something like this in roblox (I’m not a 12 year old kid xD, I know what you were thinking) and was thinking it would be nice to have this in FiveM xD, I was thinking if I should start something like this but if 2 people are already working on their projects I’ll probly wait xD

I reinstall my server and -> coudn´t load resource . and if I have in server other resources resource load normal.

Ok, I put a script in my server when I have in server other scripts. And script load. But now I reinstall my server and i don t have nothing in server , i have sessionmanager and others and this script and he can t load

Update something

  • Added escaping for prisoners, just, you know, escape? And you’ll see what happens
  • Added shop for prisoners, inside of the canteen
  • Random misc stuff

hello , hope this is a question/ ideea .
Does it work on a normal esx roleplay server ? i mean can it be integrated in a normal game and the players need to be escorted to prison and make there sentences there ?

Hey everyone,
I downloaded the linux server and resources.
Then i added prison five , prison five map , essentialmode , es ui and es admin2 but when i enter it get’s stuck in first menu when you choose your role.
I get :
