[Release] Dynamic Traffic and Weather Impact

Dynamic Traffic and Weather Impact for FiveM

Overview

The Dynamic Traffic and Weather Impact script enhances the driving experience in FiveM by dynamically adjusting traffic density, vehicle behavior, and road conditions based on weather and time of day. This creates a more immersive and realistic environment where players must adapt to changing road conditions like rain, snow, and fog, and experience traffic jams during rush hour.

Features

  • Dynamic Traffic Density:
    • Traffic density increases during rush hours (7-9 AM and 4-6 PM).
    • Traffic density changes based on weather conditions (more cars during rain or snow, fewer cars during fog).
  • Weather Impact on Vehicles:
    • Rain: Vehicles experience reduced traction and longer braking distances.
    • Snow: Vehicles slip more, and low-traction cars struggle to move.
    • Fog: Visibility is reduced, requiring slower driving.
  • Traffic Jam Simulation:
    • During rush hours or in bad weather, traffic moves slower and vehicles pile up, simulating traffic jams.

Installation

  1. Download the Script: GitHub - SpaceDrout/DTWI: Dynamic Traffic and Weather Impact script for FiveM creates a more realistic driving experience by adjusting traffic and vehicle behavior based on weather and time of day.

does this add more traffic?

how is the resmon?

Yes it does add more traffic

The script should have a low to moderate impact on performance, especially in smaller servers. However, on larger servers with many NPCs or players, it could increase resource usage slightly.

This script is also effecting player cars as well as NPC vehicles. When enabled I can either drive up to 22mph, or 78mph. Once I stop the resource and respawn the car, I can drive any speed.

So looking at it I see that it changed the speed of the vehicles but I see nowhere where it is changing the density of vehicles on the road.

Why do you have the rush hour times set for 0.10 and normal to 0.5 you know 0.10 is 0.1 which is less than 0.5 right.
