I’ve tried reinstalling RedM about 5 times, reinstalled RDO twice.
tried changing my install version to the newest (experimental) and beta
moving the RedM file to the same Directory as RDO
running the game with Steam and RDO not running
running RDO first then RedM
not sure why but whenever I try to join any RedM server it takes me to the RDO launch screen. its still recognized as RedM because I can access f8.
I’ve see people say the issue is mods or a .meta folder. but they don’t exist as I have modded my RDO

Technically RedM always will launch RDO while loading you to the servers. Were you sitting in the loading screen, or you had the same problem of the game throwing you out to the main menu?
If you could also make a quick video that would help, with F8 on.
not sure what you mean in your question, but I don’t touch anything other then connect server and it puts me into the rockstar rdo instead of the redm server. and unfortunately I have no way to screen record
I’m having the same problem, I’ve tried everything, I even formatted my hard drive, someone with a solution for this. I didn’t click on anything, I just wait and it happens.
i managed to fix this! originally the startup.meta file didn’t exist, but after I reinstalled rdo it appeared within the files. so id recommend checking for you startup.meta file and deleted that If it exists, if it doesn’t and it still doesn’t work, reinstall rdo and check again. fingers crossed
Ok, it worked, I did the following, I uninstalled everything through the windows manager, except epic, because in this case my game is epic, and I had it installed again, so I went to run redm, it asked me to install rockstar and kabum everything went back to normal. ha
