As I said, when I launch RedM, RDR2 launches and brings me to the online/story screen where I’d normally choose to go into either if I were playing the normal game. Apparently, this isn’t meant to happen and its meant to just be the launcher, with RDR2 the actual game being a separate thing. I’ve reinstalled RedM twice, made sure steam is open, did what I could but nothing seems to work.

This issue does not occur with FiveM, and I have both on the same platform: Epic Games.
It’s forcing me to open RDR2 itself to even just open RedM.

I’m having the same issue, however, my copy is through steam.

Are you using some kind of Lobby Manager for Red Dead Online?
I had the issue and what seems to work is to delete files that a Lobby Manager program created.
Try deleting the “startup.meta” files in “Red Dead Redemption 2\x64\data”. Just in case make a backup of the files.

Does anyone have a fix for this? As I have a couple of friends having the same issues.
