What is the issue you’re having?
Several players on our RedM server, Wild Hearts, report significantly delayed UI responses immediately after logging in.
Affected interfaces include:
The X-menu
Chat
Telegrams
Inventory, which takes additional time to finish loading
One player reports pressing T and typing a message, but the chat window only opens approximately 1–2 minutes later. The previously typed input then appears in the field, suggesting that input is being queued or processed with a substantial delay.
Other players report similar initial delays:
Approximately 1–2 minutes before the X-menu and inventory become usable.
Approximately 30–40 seconds for another player, still noticeably longer than before.
One player explicitly reports that everything works normally once this initial loading period has finished. Another reports that remaining in character selection for 1–2 minutes reduces the waiting time after entering the game.
Players associate the onset with a larger server update a few weeks ago, and several specifically mention our switch to the experimental 128-player sync. This is a reported timing correlation; we have not established that the sync change causes the issue.
Expected behavior: UI interactions should respond promptly once the player has entered the game, without menu actions or typed input being delayed for up to several minutes.
What have you tried already to fix the issue?
An affected player has cleared the client cache several times without resolving the issue.
NUI GPU acceleration has been tested both enabled and disabled, with a full RedM restart between tests. The affected player reported no improvement after disabling it and was advised to restore the previous setting.
We have collected reports from multiple players to compare the symptoms and their timing.
One player reports that waiting in character selection for 1–2 minutes makes the UI become usable sooner after entering the game. This appears to shift part of the waiting period rather than resolve the underlying issue.
No confirmed fix has been found.
What server did you get this issue on?
Wild Hearts — German RedM roleplay server, using the experimental redm-physical-player-extension channel for 128-player sync.
Windows version
Windows 11 and some players Windows 10
System specifications
Multiple players report similar symptoms. Complete hardware specifications for the affected systems have not yet been collected.
Antivirus software
Not interesting for that
Additional comments
We have not yet verified whether the issue also occurs on other servers or with a different client update channel. We also have no diagnostic capture yet that distinguishes delayed resource initialization, a blocked NUI interface, or delayed server responses.
Could you advise which client logs, NUI diagnostics, or profiler captures would be most useful? We would particularly appreciate guidance on capturing the initial 30–120 seconds after joining, when the issue occurs.
We can coordinate further testing with the affected players.
