RedM crashes on every server after latest update - worked yesterday (Steam / RDR2 b1491)

What is the issue you’re having?

RedM worked perfectly until yesterday morning. Since then it crashes every time I try to join any RedM server.

The crash is not server-specific. I tested multiple servers (including Wizard Town) and the result is always the same.

RedM simply crashes either:

immediately after clicking Connect, or
when Steam is already running before launching RedM.

What have you tried already to fix the issue?

Reinstalled RedM completely
Reinstalled Rockstar Games Launcher
Verified RDR2 game files in Steam
Started RDR2 normally through Steam (works perfectly)
Deleted RedM cache
Deleted RedM configuration
Disabled/closed Riot Vanguard
Overwolf is installed but not running
No ReShade installed
No ScriptHook
No LML
No dinput8.dll
No version.dll
No gameplay mods inside the RDR2 folder
Tested multiple RedM servers
Same result every time

What server did you get this issue on?

Additional comments

RDR2 launches and plays normally through Steam.

The problem only affects RedM.

I also noticed that after reinstalling the Rockstar Games Launcher it wanted to download Red Dead Redemption 2 again even though the Steam installation already exists.

The Launcher search function reports that no supported installation is found.

RedM log shows Steam authentication succeeds and Rockstar login succeeds before the crash.

Could this be related to a recent RedM Beta update or Steam update?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
