Hello,
I am a regular FiveM player, not a server owner or administrator.
I have a question about the current Cfx.re / FiveM policies and the impact of personal social media posts on a Custom Server.
I sometimes post screenshots and videos from FiveM on my personal X (Twitter) account for fun.
I also use AI tools to edit my FiveM screenshots, such as improving image quality or changing poses. In addition, I sometimes use CapCut’s AI features to create short dance videos from my FiveM screenshots.
These posts are completely non-commercial:
- I do not monetize my X account.
- I do not receive money, gifts, or other compensation from the server.
- The server staff have never asked me to promote the server.
- I am only posting these as personal fan content.
- I sometimes use hashtags such as fivem and the name of the city/server.
- Some people have told me that they discovered the server through my posts and joined because it looked fun, but this happened organically and I was not asked or paid to attract players.
- The server has given me permission to use its logo within reasonable limits.
My main concern is not whether my posts are considered advertising.
I am specifically worried about the Custom Server I play on.
Could a regular player’s independent, non-commercial external social media posts — including AI-edited images or AI-generated dance videos made from FiveM screenshots — cause the Custom Server they play on to violate Cfx.re or Rockstar policies, or cause the server to be subject to suspension or other enforcement?
In other words, could the server be penalized solely because a player independently posts this kind of content outside of FiveM?
I would greatly appreciate clarification based on the current policies.
Thank you.
