Are servers utilizing Quesar scripts still allowed?… I know of a server using a lot of the scripts. Pretty sure they’re leaked versions and I know there was a time that this servers were being shut down for using qs- resources. Is that still the case?
Yes they are.
A server will never get shutdown for using a resource purchased from Marketplace or a Tebex store. If an asset is found to be infringing, it will simply be revoked from your Portal.
All this informations coming from other Discord servers. Nothing official. Every official check from Tebex was approved. Not a fan of their script because of the performance, but they are allowed. Don’t trust in 3th party discord bots like Warden there are not official.
They literally copied wasabi ambulance 1 to 1 lmao
That’s not all they have copied
that list is DEEP.
QB-Phone was released under the GPL, which allows commercial redistribution but requires distributors of derivative versions to preserve the license and provide corresponding source code. Quasar subsequently sold a closed or escrow-protected phone product with QBCore roots. If the protected portions were substantially derived from QB-Phone and buyers were not provided the corresponding source, that could constitute a GPL violation. A definitive conclusion requires a historical code comparison and records showing which files were escrowed.
TLDR: he took Qb-phone open source code, escrowed it, and sold it for $70 a pop ![]()
No front, you’re selling AI slops and speaking about other developers?
I’m sorry but its very clear that QS has been stealing other creators code and selling it as their own.
It’s a KNOWN fact and proven
Honestly they dont even hide it, sad that they still exist.
Quasar is, without a doubt, the worst FiveM seller I’ve ever had to deal with.
Their support is an absolute joke. They close your ticket without fixing anything, then you have to reopen it, explain the exact same problem, upload the exact same evidence, and wait all over again. And then, out of nowhere, they close it again as if the ticket had never existed. It’s an endless cycle of wasting your time instead of actually helping customers.
The more I looked into it, the worse it got. There are countless complaints online about copied scripts. You’ll find people accusing them of copying work from VMS, QBCore, Wasabi, and even smaller developers who are just trying to make an honest living.
Unfortunately, I made the same mistake many others did: I bought the script first and only started researching them afterward.
If you’ve landed on this page wondering whether you should buy anything from Quasar, do yourself a favor and keep your money. Spend it literally anywhere else… give to a homeless to buy crack. Believe me, it will be better than being a Quasar customer.
New fun fact: quasar minigames (billards, table tenis, etc) are an exactly copy of minigames from RCore.
Trusting the “official” is a bit far fetched too. Dozens of us have reported the creator mentioned by OP, hired lawyers, and given various legal notices. Tebex continues to allow the creator to remain on their platform despite the repeated infringement he commits to this day.
