QBus: Food and Drink

Hello everyone,

I recently decided to start up my own dedicated QBus server as I preferred the more rounded package compared to the infinite addons in ESX.

My problem is: I wanted to add some additional custom food and drink items into the game, primarily for fast food restaurants like Subway, Dunkin Donuts etc. I have managed to get the items to appear in game in their own shops, but my character won’t use them.

I have uploaded the .png files, I have added the items on core/resource and also on qb-shops/config, but i feel there must be something I’m missing, and unfortunately there are far and few QBus tutorials online.

Replies appreciated, I do have a problem with doorlocks, but that’s for a seperate post.

Kind Regards

That troll reply doesn’t help me with my problem…

No, but it was fun. I would love to actually give you a useful answer, but I do not use qb-core.

Just spitballing, in ESX, the items are added to the inventory and there is a process for adding “usable” items to the framework. These items have an affect on hunger, thirst, stress, or whichever “need” is called for. Logic would dictate that there is a similar process in qb-core.

The fine folks at qb-core have a very active Discord server with helpful people. I am sure you’d be able to find out more there.

I’m sorry if my initial snarky answer was trollish. My dad always said, if you can’t be funny, at least be fast. I was in a rare mood when I posted that. :pensive:
